The 42nd Engineering Deans Council was hosted by Konya Technical University on November 22-23, 2024. Our Dean Prof. Dr. Ebru Akpınar attended the meeting. The problems faced by engineering faculties and new developments were discussed in detail at the event, and important presentations were made on different topics.

Ufuk Akdemir gave a presentation on the role of EBSCO in scientific research and its contributions to the field of engineering, while Serhan Başer provided information on the third version of the engineering undergraduate program evaluation criteria. Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal also gave a speech on the evaluation of the current situation in the science, technology and innovation ecosystem, covering the challenges, potentials and opportunities.

At the meeting, evaluation criteria for undergraduate programs in engineering, support for scientific research, and solution proposals for the problems of the faculties were discussed in detail.
