Faculty of Engineering Unit Advisory Board Meeting Held
The Faculty of Engineering Unit Advisory Board meeting was held with the participation of the faculty administration and board members. Our Dean Prof. Dr. Ebru Akpınar , Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaköse , Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Özyurt and Faculty Secretary Yasin CAN attended the meeting.

During the meeting, various issues regarding improving the quality of education at the faculty were discussed, and important recommendations were made regarding developing public-industry cooperation and increasing the employment potential of graduate engineers.
Highlights of the Meeting:
- It was suggested that the lessons be processed and recorded digitally .
- It was emphasized that the exam schedule should be announced regularly and the intensity should be reduced.
- It was stated that public-industry cooperation should be developed and students should be trained according to the needs of the private sector.
- It was stated that internships, career days and sectoral collaborations should be encouraged in order to increase the employment opportunities of graduate engineers .
- It was stated that laboratory and computer infrastructure should be strengthened in order to carry out research projects more efficiently.
- It was stated that academic counseling processes should be carried out regularly and students should be supported more in their career planning.
- Private sector representatives expressed their expectations from engineering graduates and emphasized that more emphasis should be placed on applied projects.
In particular, it was stated that projects that will create a bridge between the faculty and industry should be developed so that graduate engineers can be more competitive in the sector.
Faculty management stated that the decisions taken will be put into practice in a short time and the necessary steps will be taken to ensure that students graduate in a more equipped manner.
